From October 19 to 22, Guayaquil will bring together experts, companies, and representatives from the international aquaculture industry to analyze the sector’s main challenges and learn about the innovations that are transforming production.
Against a backdrop marked by the ongoing pursuit of greater efficiency, technological advances, new health challenges, and shifts in international markets, AQUAEXPO INTERNATIONAL 2026 will bring together the key players in the aquaculture supply chain in Ecuador’s main port to exchange knowledge, analyze trends, and explore solutions for an industry in constant evolution.
Organized by the National Chamber of Aquaculture (CNA), the event will take place from October 19 to 22 at the Guayaquil Convention Center, combining an International Technical Congress with an extensive Trade Fair, which will once again make Ecuador a meeting point for specialists, producers, exporters, suppliers, and representatives from various markets.
The International Technical Congress will feature more than 70 national and international speakers, who will share research, experiences, and perspectives on topics related to efficient production, animal health and nutrition, water and soil management, production systems, digital innovation, sustainability, and market trends. The agenda will focus on providing the sector with the technical knowledge and tools needed to make better decisions in the face of current and future challenges in aquaculture.
OVER 300 STANDS WILL SHOWCASE THE SECTOR’S TECHNOLOGICAL AND COMMERCIAL OFFERINGS
At the same time, the AQUAEXPO INTERNATIONAL 2026 Trade Fair will feature more than 300 stands, where local and international companies will showcase technologies, equipment, inputs, feed products, supplements, and specialized services for the various stages of aquaculture production.
Attendees will be able to explore solutions related to feed and nutrition, genetics, automation, monitoring, biosecurity, energy efficiency, water quality, equipment, and new technologies in a space designed to facilitate commercial exchange, generate business opportunities, and directly connect producers with the innovations entering the market.
The agenda will also include specialized sessions to explore strategic issues for the sector’s future, including the “Race to the Top” Sustainability Forum, which will broaden the discussion on the progress, challenges, and opportunities related to responsible and competitive production, and a special section titled “Climate Variability, Adaptation, and Resilience”, in which experts will discuss how to maintain productivity when environmental conditions become unstable, examining complementary perspectives: interactions between sediment and water, epidemiology, water quality, climate change, and key decisions to protect production.
More than just presenting industry trends, AQUAEXPO INTERNATIONAL 2026 will seek to connect scientific knowledge, production experience, and technological innovation with the decisions that will shape the next phase of aquaculture.
